Billing

PATTS is a NDIS billing practice. To access services with PATTS, individuals must have a NDIS plan  and be plan or self-managed. Invoices are usually sent on Tuesdays. Please endeavour to pay invoices within seven (7) days of receiving. At this stage PATTS does not take on NDIA plan managed  participants. Clients can pay privately however at this stage PATTS does not have Medicare rebates.

The following is a list of items that may be charged for under your NDIS plan. Please note, this list is not exclusive and other further charges may apply. All services are charged from your NDIS plan at  $190 per hour. During your first session, you will have the opportunity to speak with your therapist if you have any questions, or if you wish to opt out of specific services.

❖ Face to face sessions
❖ Teletherapy
❖ Development of individualised resources (Eg – social stories, visual schedules)
❖ Report writing
❖ Travel
❖ Assessment
❖ Analysing of assessment data
❖ Therapeutic consultation
❖ Case conferences/meetings

Please note, you will require a progress report on your NDIS plan at least one time during the course  of your NDIS plan. Your therapist will endeavour to be transparent with billing for non-face to face  items. Should you have any questions about invoices, please get in touch with your therapist, or  invoices@patts.com.au.

Functional Capacity Assessments

Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) can be completed by your Occupational Therapist providing you have an NDIS plan and are self-managed or plan-managed. FCA’s can be completed as a stand alone service, or as part of a comprehensive therapy plan. Please note, if you are accessing services for a FCA only and wish to commence comprehensive services there may be a waitlist.

FCA’s consist of assessments in your home environment, standardised assessment questions and informal interviewing. A standard cost of your FCA is $1900 (10 hours of funding). Please allow 4-6 weeks from your first date of assessment for your completed FCA. If you have any questions, please speak with your Occupational Therapist.

Home visits

As part of your service, home visits may be completed. Should you wish to have home visits completed as part of your therapy service, please inform your therapist. All home visits require an individual over the age of 18 to be present in the home environment. All home visits are also subject to a safety and risk assessment to be completed prior to services commencing.

School visits

School visits may be completed as part of your service. Should you wish to have school visits completed as part of your therapy service, please inform your therapist. Your therapist can liaise with  the school regarding appointment times should you wish.

Community visits

Community visits can be completed as part of your service. This includes visits in public spaces (eg  – library, café), university/TAFE visits or workplace visits. As with home visits, all community visits  require an individual over the age of 18 present in the community environment. There are no out of  pocket expenses for individuals at community visits outside of any additional items the individual  purchases (eg – beverages, parking).

If you wish to create a service agreement, please discuss with your therapist at your first session.

Complaints

Should you have any concerns about your services, your first call should be to speak with your therapist and raise the matter. Should your query not be answered, please email enquiries@patts.com.au with a copy of the completed complaints form. Please see PATTS complaints policy for complete details.
